• A+ Country Report -- Country information from around the world.  A resource for business, tourists, students and teachers.   The Internet's best source of country data!
• Collections of Children's Literature -- part of the Andy Holt Virtual Library.
• Eduville -- a life-long learning community.
• Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton Homework Help Page -- an excellent all around homework help site with many government links.
• Bill Nye the Science Guy  -- the online laboratory of the popular TV show. Links to NASA, the Smithsonian and other web goodies.
• Endangered Species  -- a compendium of information about endangered species, including fact sheets, searchable databases, images, policy and legislation.
• Kids Web -- a World Wide Web digital library for school kids targeted at the K-12 level. 
• Kids Click! -- which was created by a group of librarians who wanted to guide young users to valuable and age-appropriate web sites. It's a great gateway site, especially for children in elementary and middle school, with lots of links parents can feel comfortable letting their kids to explore.
• Kay E. Vandergrift's Children's Literature Page -- contains ideas, links and information for people interested in literature for children and young adults. 
• Older kids -- grade 7 and up can find help from Schoolwork Ugh!  Along with lots of quality links, the site offers kids the option to e-mail the librarian. Answers are usually provided within 24 hours.
• The Kids on the Web Homework Tools -- was developed by an aspiring teacher.  In addition to interesting and effective informational links, the site has links to lots of useful tools: dictionaries, thesaurus, encyclopedias, world fact books and even the classic Elements of Style.
• Connecting Students -- are equally appropriate for teachers and students.  Connecting Students, for example, was designed to help teachers by locating and listing web sites that are worthwhile for students to visit. Its purpose is to provide links to quality content-oriented web sites, educational interactive sites students can participate in, and offer teachers Internet-ready lesson plans.
• B.J. Pinchbeck's Homework Helper -- started by an 11-year-old young man from Pennsylvania.  It has good links to core subject areas.
• Homework Help from The Learning Network -- is a part of Family Education.com.  You can select the subject for homework help and get help with science projects.  Access to references such as an online dictionary, encyclopedia, atlas and almanac.  Parents can get tips on how what to do when the child can't manage the homework.
• Health and Human Services Web Pages for Kids -- issues on preventive healthcare, environmental health, drug education, bicycle safety, and web pages for kids around the federal government.
• Anansi's Books for Children -- a collection of 1,600 books that reinforce positive self-images, build self-esteem and reflect the rich culture of people of African descent.
• The Weather Dude -- weather education site especially for kids, parents and teachers from TV meteorologist Nick Walker.
• Planet G-Hop.com -- games, stories, homework help, jokes and more.
• Kid's Edge.com -- online learning solutions for families.
